To Help you Write, Edit, and Publish
Writing may be a mostly solo craft, but if you want to share your story with the world, you’ll need some help. I, of course, would love to provide some of that help as a book editor, but I know I can’t do it all. Or maybe I’m not the right fit for you. So here is an ever-growing list of resources for writers, from writing advice to places to find freelance editors and designers.

Literary Hub – Check out their “Craft and Criticism” section for articles about writing.
Fox Print Editorial – An experienced editor and published author gives writing tips and online courses.
The Write Practice – Articles and resources for improving your writing.
Places to Find Publishing Advice & Info
Jane Friedman – Explore her insightful blog full of guidance on the publishing industry and how to navigate it. She also has online classes.
The Creative Penn – Bestselling author Joanna Penn gives advice on writing, publishing, and marketing. Check out her YouTube channel too!
Learn Self Publishing – A YouTube channel with a pretty self-explanatory name.
Places to Find Editors, Designers, etc.
Editorial Freelancers Association – If you’re looking for an editor, you can submit a job listing that goes out to EFA members so they can apply for it.
Reedsy – You can find editors, cover designers, marketing professionals, and more on Reedsy. They have pretty steep requirements for their freelancers, and I’ve personally hired multiple professionals through Reedsy. While I think hiring freelancers directly is often the better choice, Reedsy is still a great option.
